Mary Made is a multi-talented artist who focuses on expressing emotions to people through her artwork. Since 2012, her compelling artworks have graced numerous exhibitions, establishing her presence in the contemporary art scene.
From her Brussels atelier, Mary continues to push the boundaries of artistic expression, transforming raw emotion into visual art that resonates deeply with those who encounter her work. Techniques & Materials
A true explorer of visual arts, Mary crafts her creative universe through a rich and diverse palette of expressions. From the luxuriant texture of oils to the delicate nature of watercolours, from the vibrancy of acrylics to the subtle poetry of pastels, she passionately masters each medium that crosses her path. Her expertise extends to ancestral techniques such as gilding and glazing, which she boldly combines with contemporary mixed media approaches.
Trained at several art academies, she had the privilege of refining her artistic vision under the guidance of renowned masters, honing her creative skills through teachings from prominent artists such as Reine-Marie Pinchon, Ewa Karpinska, Roland Palmaerts, Alvaro Castagnet, Bei-An Cao, Herman Pekel, Viktoria Prischedko, Odette Feller, Corinne Izquierdo, Ming Xin Wen, Fernand Thienpondt, Dominique Coppe, Amit Kapoor, Nicolas Lopez, Aslani Kourosh, Catherine Sommelette, Slawa Prischedko, Ekaterina Sava, Anne Baron, Laurie Breda, Mustapha Ben Lahmar, Pierre Sentjens, Emmanuel Blot, Frank Rollier, Victoria Calleja, Abel Antonysamy and Madeleine Lejeune to name a few.
